Zune是微软（Microsoft）公司的可携式媒体播放器的名称，它同时也是驱动该设备的软件，及提供获取和分享媒体的在线服务。先前Zune被认为仅是微软“Argo”计划下的一款媒体播放器。^[2]^[3]然而，目前看来“Zune”这个品牌将会被用在所有的媒体播放器、和其他的服务上，贯穿整个计划。^[4]Zune在美国市场于2006年 11月14日上市，售价为249.99美元（约人民币1,965元）。欧洲地区则预计于2007下半年或2008年初上市。

规格

支持的音乐格式：WMA，MP3，AAC。

设备可以播放使用数字著作权管理方案（Windows Media DRM）录制的 WMA 和 WMV 。
它采用东芝的硬盘，与iPod一样。
主控芯片采用Freescale的i.MX31L多媒体应用处理器。i.MX31采用ARM1136内核，采用90纳米制程，处理频率是532MHz，拥有128KB的L2 Cache。
电源管理器采用Freescale的MC13783，集成了电源管理、USB OTG、模拟录音、数模转换、时钟、背光功能等多种功能。
视频转换器采用Focus Enhancements公司的FS456。
采用三星的缓冲存储器，容量为16MB。
无线模块采用KEYSTREAM的KS3021/KS7010，支持IEEE 802.11g。
立体声编码解码器采用Wolfson的WM8978。

Zune Marketplace

ZUNE MARKETPLACE界面

Zune Marketplace为微软娱乐产品Zune旗下的一个在线音乐购买网站，使用的是微软积分来购买，折合5美元购买400积分。大部分音乐为75分。随着Zune的销售，Zune Marketplace渐渐成为了网民购买音乐的手段。另外值得一提的是，Zune Marketplace并没有公开可以用于各种浏览器的URL地址，因此只能使用Zune软件来进行搜索、浏览。

因为zune marketplace只在欧美几个国家发行，所以需要使用zune marketplace 的其他地区用户需要将计算机的“区域”（控制皮肤>语言与区域设置）设置为相应国家或地区比如“美国”。

Zune家用套装

Zune家用套装（英文：Zune™ Home A/V Pack）发布于2006年 11月14日，为Zune的插件之一，目前售价99.99美元（折合人民币800元）。Zune家用套装包括：Zune几座、Zune充电器、连接电视线、电脑同步线以及一个遥控器。

Zune移动套装（英文：Zune™ Travel Pack）为微软Zune的插件，发布于2006年 11月4日，售价99.99美元（折合人民币800元）。Zune移动套装包括Zune遥控器、Zune包、Zune更新盒、Zune充电器等。

Zune 用户端（无官方正式名称，但由于容易同硬件Zune弄混，因此称之为Zune 用户端，英文：Zune Software for PC）为运行于微软 Windows平台下同Zune相连接、更新的软件，目前最新版本为3.0。Zune软件携带有同Zune相更新的软件以及同Zune在音乐、相片以及影片相更新的软件。但由于Zune软件的功能以及界面的不完善、简陋，因此常常受到批判。

Zune端

Zune 主机端（并没有官方正式名称，但由于容易与硬件Zune弄混，因此称之为Zune 主机端。英文：Zune Software）为装载于Zune自身的软件，目前最新版本为3.0，用户在将Zune与电脑连接时即可自动更新到最新版本。

Wireless hotspot access added for automatically updating the user's collection, browsing the Marketplace, refreshing Channels, exchanging favorites with friends, or buying songs tagged from the device's FM radio. Zune Channels, custom programming stations that deliver personalized playlists to Zune from a variety of sources the user selects (such as music experts, celebrities, or top radio stations), is added. A clock, screen lock feature, and free games (Texas Hold'em and Hexic) are added. The "quick list" has been replaced with a "now playing" list, which functions differently from the previous "quick list".
