蜂窩站
蜂窩站是一個安裝天線和電子通訊設備的站點，用於行動電話使用的蜂窩網路。信號站由天線塔 (or antennas mounted on an elevated structure, such as a building)、無線電收發機、數字信號處理器、控制電路s,用於定時的GPS接收機，備份電源和機房組成。
蜂窩站通過T1 (專線或微波)和T3s (專線，微波或光纖)連接到行動電話交換局(MTSO)的基站控制器(BSC)。基站控制器連接到接入公共交換電話網(PSTN)的電話交換機上。
