Eukaryota, (Whittaker & Margulis anno 1978), (Graeci: eu 'bene, valde' et karyon 'nucleus') sunt omnia vitalia quae nucleum, mitochondria, et organella possident. Et regnum animalium et regnum plantarum sunt eucaryota.

Lichenes sunt casus specialis, quia et ex fungis et ex algis constituunt.

Casus specialis et Myxomycetes sunt quia cellulas maximas cum multis nucleis formant. Cellulae non solent vallum habere, sed si fructuant, myxomycetes cellulas cum vallo formant.
