Nayeb Asadollah


Maestro Nayeb Asadollah Isfahani is considered one of the noted Persian musicians and ney players in Persian history. A number of the Iranian musicians including Hossein Aqa Shahbazi, Jalal Taj, Seyyed Rahim, Seyyed Hossein Taherzadeh, Mahdi Navaeim, and Moshir Homayoun were students of Maestro Nayeb Asadollah.

His co-operation with different music groups were remarkable events history of Iran's music. The relationships between the music group of "Etezadieh" and other groups like Agha Hussein Gholi Farahani (Tar player), Sorourol Molk, and Suleiman Esfahani are examples of these.

Nayeb Asadollah is well known for composing a Gusheh (corner) in one of the Iranian music Dastgahs, known as Baghdadi Nayeb.
