Carlin Glynn (born February 19, 1940) is an American actress. She is the mother of actress Mary Stuart Masterson.
Glynn made her Broadway debut as "Mona Stangley" in the original cast of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. She won the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her role, which she reprised in the 1982 revival. She is also known for her role as mother to Molly Ringwald in Sixteen Candles.
