The Bouldnor Cliff Mesolithic Village is an archeological site on the Isle of Wight, in the United Kingdom.
In August 2007, the Underwater Archaeology Centre on the Isle of Wight announced they had collected Mesolithic flints, wood, hazelnuts and other organic material from a submerged site at the foot of Bouldnor Cliff.[1]
This material dates from 8000 years ago, when Bouldnor cliff was the highest point of a chalk ridge. The preservation state of the finds make the site unique within the UK and one of international importance.
