The Battle of Magango was fought in 1840 between Zulu and Boer forces at 28°23′0.13″S 30°54′59.13″E / 28.3833694°S 30.916425°E / -28.3833694; 30.916425Coordinates: 28°23′0.13″S 30°54′59.13″E / 28.3833694°S 30.916425°E / -28.3833694; 30.916425. The Zulus were led by King Dingane. The Boers were victorious.
