BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award
The Academy Fellowship is an award given out by BAFTA since 1971 "in recognition of outstanding achievement in the art forms of the moving image", and is regarded the most prestigious of the BAFTA awards given to individuals. The Fellowship recipients have mainly been famous film directors, but a number of Fellowships have also been awarded to renowned actors, and have also been awarded to film and television producers, cinematographers, film editors and screenwriters.
