"10-7" is the twenty fourth episode in the third season of the American crime drama CSI: Miami. The episode was first aired on May 23, 2005.
A bomb exploded in Miami and Horatio suspects someone is making dirty bombs. Horatio finds a bloody fingerprint of his brother, Raymond Caine, who is believed to be dead. Meanwhile, when Ray Jr. is kidnapped, Raymond has to work with Horatio to find the kidnapper and save his son. While processing the crime scene, an unknown assailant (later found to be John Hagen, Raymond Caine's first partner and Calleigh's former boyfriend) holds a gun to Calleigh's head and later commits suicide in front of her. While Ray and Horatio are trying to save Ray Jr., Ray is shot in the chest and falls. But he isn't dead: Horatio had told him to wear a bulletproof vest under his shirt, which saved his life. Horatio later gets his sister-in-law and her son, Ray Jr., tickets to Brazil (saying it's for a family vacation). When they arrive at the plane, Raymond is there to fly down and live with his wife and son in Brazil.
